Advances in Alloy
Technologies – The Esteticor Family
With the heavy emphasis on CAD/CAM technologies and
computer guided milling systems, and the marketing drives
associated with such systems, the general dentist and
specialist might be led to believe that conventional
casting techniques no longer have a place in implant
dentistry.
The aim of this presentation is to introduce a group of
alloys specifically designed by Cendres & Metaux to meet
the accuracy requirements for implant dentistry – the
Esteticor Alloys. These alloys have been specifically
formulated for use with conventional casting techniques as
well as precision milling methods such as “Cresco”.
Materials technology, laboratory and clinical steps will
be outlined in the presentation. |
