Dr. Igor Pesun - Manitoba
Dr. Igor Pesun is an Associate Professor and Head
of the Department of Restorative Dentistry, Faculty of
Dentistry University of Manitoba. He completed his dental
education at the University of Manitoba, and then a
General Practice Residency at the Royal University
Hospital in Saskatoon, Canada. He returned to set up a
general practice in Winnipeg and was hired as a part-time
instructor and clinical researcher at the University of
Manitoba.

After 4 years of
private practice he entered the Medical College of
Georgia's Graduate Prosthodontic Program and received a
Certificate in Prosthodontics and a Masters in Oral
Biology. As a Board Certified Prosthodontist Dr his
private prosthodontic practice provides restorative,
implant and esthetic dental care. He is active in and has
published articles on basic, applied, clinical, and
educational research.
Dr. Pesun has been involved in a number of local, state,
and national organizations and continues to serve as a
reviewer for a number of national and international dental
journals. Helping practitioners to expand their clinical
practice with contemporary techniques he has lectured to
various groups in the Bolivia, Canada, Japan, Nicaragua
and USA.

Mr. Ken Chizick, R.D.T., C.D.T. - Manitoba
Ken Chizick supervises the Clinical Technical
Laboratory in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at
the University Of Manitoba School Of Dental Medicine,
Canada. He is a leading resource in dental materials and
actively participates in a variety of clinical research
trials of today’s new dental materials.
He has presented
across North America and Europe on dental ceramics.

Ken is an honors graduate of George Brown College,
Toronto, Canada. Ken is registered with the Manitoba
Dental Technology Association, Manitoba, Canada, and is
certified by the National Board of Certification USA. Ken
has had the unique opportunity to assist in the
development of Vita VM13 with Vita Zahnfabrik.
