Dr. Dennis Nimchuk

Dr. Dennis Nimchuk is a Certified
Prosthodontist in Vancouver, British Columbia,
Canada. He has been director and mentor to over
twenty continuing education Study Groups in the
field of Fixed, Removable and Implant
Prosthodontics. He is an author and teaching
clinician and has given over six hundred
presentations in various parts of Canada, the USA,
Asia, Central and South America and Europe. He has
been an Honorary Sessional Lecturer for the Faculty
of Dentistry at the University of British Columbia
for over 15 years. He is a Fellow of the Royal
College of Dentists of Canada, a Fellow of the
American College of Dentists, a Fellow of the
Academy of Dentistry International, A Fellow of the
Canadian Academy of Restorative Dentistry and
Prosthodontics and a Fellow of the College of Dental
Surgeons of British Columbia. He has received the
James Willmot medal from the University of Toronto,
Faculty of Dentistry, honoring him as an “Alumni of
Distinction”. He is Past-President of the BC Society
of Prosthodontics, Past-President of the Dental
Specialists Society of BC and Past-President of the
Canadian Academy of Prosthodontics. He is the
immediate Past-President of the Canadian Academy of
Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics. |

opinion that has poor substantiation. This
presentation will identify areas of controversial
implant management protocols and challenge some of
the established views on decision making when it
comes to implant planning and design, to surgical
criteria and to restorative protocols.
