Topic: Modern Esthetic Restorative
Materials - Clinical Challenges and Considerations
In today's restorative dental
practice, tooth-colored dental materials have become
a staple in the restorative dentist's armamentarium
for meeting the appearance related demands of
patients.
With so many material manufacturers and products on
the market, how do we know which material is
appropriate for a particular clinical situation?
Dr. Lowe will present examples of where composite
and all ceramic materials were used successfully and
clinical situations where they failed functionally
and/or esthetically.
The focus of the discussion will be on how to
clinically achieve predictable esthetic and
functional results with:
- Posterior Composite
Restorations
- Pressed Porcelain Restorations
- Zirconia-Based Restorations
